New look, same mission.

When the idea of Fresh Sends came to life in the fall of 2017, 22-year-old me thought it would be the perfect added service to round out my business, Rooted Floral + Design. Designing for weddings and events and a flower delivery service that didn’t give you a headache from the moment you googled “flower delivery”. Perfect!

What I didn’t realize at the time was how monumental this service would be in meeting people in some of life’s happiest moments, and some of life’s most difficult. The vision and mission of this business at the core has always been to show people in a tangible way that they’re cared for. That’s why we put such an emphasis on our cards while keeping our bouquets simplistic, seasonal, and fresh.

We see a gap in the flower delivery industry. And it’s our goal to fill that gap. Getting fresh, seasonal bouquets (that I would actually want to receive!) that say something meaningful in the hands of your recipients. To make the flower ordering process breezy and fun instead of overwhelming and cue reaching for the Advil. And most importantly, to help our increasingly lonely, anxious, fearful society feel a bit more seen, known, and loved.

So here she is, Fresh Sends making her individual debut. We hope you enjoy!!

Before I sign off, I just want to say how grateful I am for the unofficial “Fresh Sends Team” that provide feedback and insight on what we are trying to do in the wee hours of the night. I am so thankful for all your support and help. (Jesse Hiss especially, husband of the quarter!)

And Kearby Milliner, who is the Cofounder and Creative Genius of Fresh Sends, brings her art direction superpowers to everything she does and deserves more credit than words can articulate for her work in this business. I am so grateful.

Hope you all have fun sending flowers,

Ty Hiss
